Manevi Zekâ Kavramına Nefs Psikolojisi Bağlamında Bir Değerlendirme

Spiritual intelligence is defined as the capacity to solve problems by perceiving connections between perception, belief, and behavior and feeling connected to the whole. Its dimensions include conscience, self-understanding, awareness of life purpose, compassion, human values, and commitment to humanity. The Psychology of the Nafs examines humans through soul, heart, mind, and nafs, which can lead to negative emotions or, when guided, toward the perfect human. This review explores commonalities between spiritual intelligence and the nafs, finding that awareness and connection to the whole resemble the nafs concept. Development of spiritual intelligence dimensions corresponds to progression through stages of the nafs, from nafs-i ammara to nafs-i safiya, preventing dark aspects of the nafs from dominating decision-making.
