Le Pan - Spiritualisme Hindou. L'Advaita Vedānta et L'antériorité de L'homme par rapport à l'univers

Hiperboreea Journal (2013-) June 1, 2015 Ovidiu Nedu

In Advaita Vedānta, the universe is not an independent reality but an illusion projected by consciousness. When consciousness becomes covered by ignorance (avidyā), it loses self-awareness and begins to project successive layers of illusion: first the causal body (kāraṇa śarīra), then the subtle body (sūkṣma śarīra) which forms the individual psyche, and finally the gross body (sthūla śarīra) or physical universe. Materiality is merely a dense form of ignorance. Man and universe are inseparable, both being different manifestations of consciousness (cit).
