At a specific Islamic boarding school, students who do not live on campus undergo a process of developing prophetic intelligence through three phases: a pre-transformation desire for deeper worship, a transformation involving mystical experiences toward Allah, and a post-transformation marked by more religious thinking, polite behavior, and benefit to others. Mastery of this intelligence includes both quantitative competencies—intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and perceptual intelligence from a prophetic perspective—and qualitative competencies such as bodily light representing heart clarity and acquiring previously unstudied knowledge (Laduni's knowledge).
