Quantum Learning in a Sufism Perspective: Integration of Tajalli Concepts and Holistic Learning Theory

Munaddhomah Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam March 30, 2026 Hamzah Hamzah, Firdaus Firdaus, Siti Robiah et al.

This theoretical paper addresses the gap in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) between cognitive instruction and transformative learning that integrates spiritual experience. The authors argue that existing uses of Quantum Learning (QL) in religious education are technical, while Sufi epistemology, especially the concept of tajalli, has rarely been theorized as a learning paradigm. Through philosophical analysis and hermeneutic study of classical Sufi texts, they propose an integrative framework called Quantum Sufic Learning (QSL). They reconceptualize learning as a process of tajalli, where meaning emerges from the interaction of rational cognition, spiritual-emotional awareness, and transcendental consciousness. The framework offers a transferable pedagogical model for integrating spirituality and modern learning theory.
