medRxiv August 28, 2022 Dr. Rakesh Sarwal, R. Dhamija, K. Jain et al. preprint

A quasi-randomized clinical trial with 250 frontline healthcare professionals in New Delhi found that a 28-day Pranayama module (twice daily) reduced perceived stress more than routine physical activity. The intervention group showed a significant decrease in perceived stress scores compared to controls. Wellbeing increased non-significantly. Overall quality of life improved non-significantly, but the psychological domain of quality of life increased significantly. Physical and environmental domains also improved but not significantly.
