A Dynamic Systems Framework for Cognitive–Affective Interaction with Awareness Modulation (L–E–A Model)

This technical report proposes a hypothesis-grade framework that models the interaction of rational cognition, affective-emotional dynamics, and awareness modulation as a unified dynamical system. Grounded in affective and cognitive neuroscience, particularly prefrontal–limbic circuit interactions, the framework formalizes these dynamics through coupled differential equations. Awareness is operationalized in functional and measurable terms, without ontological claims about phenomenal consciousness. Physics-based analogies, including quantum probability and dynamical systems theory, are used only as structural isomorphisms, not physical identities. The framework rejects claims of neural quantum coherence and maintains a classical neuroscientific foundation. Each claim is assigned an epistemic gravity rating (0–1 scale). The report presents a structured hypothesis with model characteristics, not a finalized theory of consciousness.
