Curiosity and Failure as Gateways to Transpersonal Transformation:

Failure, typically pathologized in Western culture, is reframed as a necessary descent that can catalyze postegoic identity formation. Curiosity and awe are argued to be essential mediators that transform ego-shattering failure into a catalyst for transpersonal emergence. The review synthesizes depth, integral, and phenomenological approaches with contemporary neuroscience and empirical transpersonal research, including the works of Panksepp, Josipovic, and Friedman, to validate a shift from a "Psychological Ego" to a "Primordial Ego." This offers a holistic process for conscious evolution through failure.
