Emotional intelligence—self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, motivation, and social skills—can be enhanced by ancient meditation practices. One such practice, Amrit Varsha Dhyan, introduced by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, uses guided visualization of absorbing divine nectar to cleanse emotions, reduce stress, and cultivate positive thoughts. The paper argues that this technique may improve self-awareness, emotional resilience, empathy, and social skills, contributing to holistic well-being. Empirical studies cited indicate it reduces anxiety, fosters emotional stability, and improves mental clarity. The paper explores Amrit Varsha Dhyan as a structured meditation for cultivating emotional intelligence and promoting mental health.
