MEDITATION PRACTICES: IMPACT ON MIND AND BODY SAFETY

Towards Excellence June 30, 2021 Kaustubh Kamalesh Bhandarkar, Charusheela Ramesh Birajdar

Meditation is a practical tool for transforming mental and physical health, moving a person from thinking to feeling, and achieving peace, calm, and inner harmony. It is less about faith or eliminating confused thoughts and more about altering consciousness. Originally a religious practice dating back thousands of years in Buddhism, meditation has grown in popularity in the Western world since the 20th century and is now used for relaxation, stress reduction, and a tranquil mind. This research paper aims to understand variants of meditation practices across religions, their methods, and the mental and physical health benefits for maintaining work-life balance in global competition.
