Hypertension in early adulthood is increasingly common, often linked to stress from workload, academics, or family pressure. This qualitative case study evaluated Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for reducing stress in three participants aged 25–36 with hypertension. The intervention included five sessions: psychoeducation on stress and mindfulness, mindful check-in, body scan meditation, and evaluation. Measures included DASS, PSS, SPM, and projective tests. Results showed significant decreases in DASS Stress scores (AP: from 27 to lower, NAM: from very severe to reduced, DS: from 32 to lower) and PSS scores, along with improved sleep quality, focus, and emotional control. MBSR supported emotion regulation and body awareness, suggesting it may be a complementary intervention for hypertension in early adulthood.
