The effects of mindfulness-based stress reduction on mindfulness and stress levels of nursing students during first clinical experience.

A quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group found that mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) effectively reduced stress and increased mindfulness among nursing students. Students who participated in MBSR showed decreased stress levels and increased mindfulness compared to the control group, with no differences between groups before the intervention.
