Faisabilité du protocole MBCT pour des patients phobiques sociaux. Une étude pilote : évolution et perspectives à venir

European Psychiatry November 1, 2013 L. Sala, D. Rambaud, B. Aubriot

A pilot study adapted Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for social phobia. Of 30 enrolled patients, 24 completed the 8-week protocol; 6 were not retested. The authors describe the rationale for adapting Segal et al.'s MBCT protocol, originally designed for depression relapse prevention, to social phobia, noting few existing studies and none in a French population. They detail group formats, patient profiles, and assessment tool outcomes, discussing results, limitations, and future directions.
