A Spanish adaptation of the Child and Adolescent Mindfulness Measure (CAMM) was tested in 536 Mexican fifth and sixth graders. After exploratory factor analysis, a 9-item version showed adequate construct validity and acceptable internal consistency (α = .716). The findings support the adapted scale as a reliable tool for measuring mindfulness in Mexican children, advancing the inclusion of mindfulness practices in child psychology in Mexico.
