Pengaruh Terapi Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Gratitude Practice Terhadap Stress Pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Di Universitas Muhammadiyah Kudus

Indonesian Journal of Innovation Multidisipliner Research July 10, 2026 Anggun Anissa Rahma, Anny Rosiana Masithoh, Fitriana Kartikasari

Final-year nursing students face high academic demands from thesis writing, including repeated revisions, limited references, slow supervisor feedback, and time constraints, leading to stress that harms mental health and academic function. A quasi-experimental study with 72 students (36 intervention, 36 control) tested Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Gratitude Practice. Stress levels were measured before and after the intervention. The intervention group showed a significant stress reduction (p < 0.05), while the control group showed no significant change (p > 0.05). The difference between groups was also significant (p < 0.05). MBSR and Gratitude Practice effectively reduce stress in final-year students.
