Abstract
This study aims to develop an Android-based Meditation application as a meditation learning medium with breathing as the object for teenagers at the Pitakananda Vihara Buddhist Sunday School (SMB). The application development uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with main features in the form of meditation guide videos, interactive quizzes, timers/stopwatches, practice reports, and daily reminders. The results showed that the Meditation application obtained a feasibility score of 96% from material experts and 84% from media experts, both in the Very Feasible category. Student responses were also very positive with an increase in understanding of breathing meditation from 72.5% in the pre-test to 92.5% in the post-test, as well as a high interest in using the application regularly. Thus, the Meditation application is declared suitable and effective as a non-formal learning medium that can improve the understanding, motivation, and consistency of Buddhist teenagers in practicing breathing meditation.
