Abstract
The Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Orch-OR) theory proposes quantum processes in neuronal microtubules as the basis of consciousness, but faces criticism regarding thermal decoherence in the "warm, wet, and noisy" brain environment. We propose that the solution lies in the structural properties of intracellular water. Based on Pollack's research, we hypothesize that water within microtubules exists as Exclusion Zone (EZ) water—a liquid-crystalline phase with hexagonal lattice structure and net negative charge. This ordered medium functions as a biological Faraday cage, shielding quantum states from thermal noise. To validate this framework, we present the computational design of "Fibonaccin Trinity Pro," a 33-residue synthetic peptide engineered to generate a ~40 Debye dipole moment and nucleate EZ water formation. The peptide incorporates: (1) an N-terminal poly-arginine cell-penetrating sequence, (2) a Golden Ratio-spaced tryptophan core for resonant π-electron coupling, and (3) a C-terminal poly-glutamate focusing domain. We propose an integrated therapeutic protocol combining this peptide with Methylene Blue, C60 fullerene, and 660 nm photobiomodulation to restore mitochondrial function and cellular voltage. This work provides a testable framework bridging quantum biology, water physics, and neuroscience, with potential applications in consciousness research, neurodegenerative disease, and cancer therapy.
