Abstract
The increasing prevalence of diabetes mellitus (DM) poses significant challenges for both patients and healthcare providers.Chronic stress exacerbates the condition, affecting glycemic control and increasing the risk of complications. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MB-CBT) has emerged as a promising intervention for stress reduction. This paper examines the effect of MB-CBT on stress reduction in patients with DM,focusing on its mechanisms, clinical outcomes, and implications for diabetes management.
