The chapter points to future opportunities in the field, including a shift from a treatment-focused approach to a more integrated conceptualization and treatment process. It raises important questions about the best use of psychedelics in mental health care, suggesting that they may be more suited to promoting overall well-being than simply reducing symptoms. It also discusses the important but overlooked role of community support and explores the question of what collective changes would best support the integration of psychedelic therapy into our culture’s approach to healing.
