Abstract
The diffraction of internal groups. The different processes by which the representation of internal groups within dreams are demonstrated in this article through a series of dream analyses : condensation and formation of conglemerate persons, multiplication of likenesses, diffraction of a dream idea or of the dreamer into several elements of the dream content linked together through primary logical connexions. An analysis is proposed of this process (including its effects on object representation) and of the grouped self - with regard to the distribution of instinctual energy - in their role as instruments of the hallucinatory manifestation of wishes. The same process is put into effect in numerous works of art and within the space characteristic of group bonds. The concept of an internal group is articulated, inside the psychodramatic clinic, with the organisation of the group bond : in that context it is proposed to consider how certain economic forms of the intra-psychic dramatisation are selectively mobilised and worked on within intersubjective psychodramatic space. Some suggestions are put forward concerning transference and attentiveness to the group associative chain.
