Following the death of a loved one, some individuals observe a butterfly landing on their windowsill, circling three times before flying away. Others dream of deceased relatives, waking with an overwhelming sense of reality, as if a genuine visitation occurred. Still others report visions of their faith's "deities" or a warm white light. Mainstream science currently lacks a unified explanation for these phenomena. Building upon the Projection Layer framework (Lin Mo, 2026a), this paper constructs a comprehensive model: the brain functions as a receiver, while consciousness serves as the signal source. Death represents the powering off of the receiver, not the cessation of the signal. This model accounts for the following core phenomena: Life review, time dilation, instantaneous death, déjà vu, sleep paralysis, dream demons, butterfly revisits, deceased relatives in dreams, deity manifestations, and reincarnation mechanisms.
