Abstract
To address the core limitations of mainstream consciousness theories—deficient temporal dynamics and failure to respond to Chalmers’ hard problem of consciousness and qualia puzzles from first principles—this paper constructs a unified framework for the hierarchical emergence of consciousness via first-principles derivation, with three axioms as the exclusive starting point and temporal dynamics as the entry. It proposes the core unifying concept of the information capacity frame, proves the Information-Level Unidirectional Constraint Law, and derives the bidirectional critical phase transition mechanism. It reveals that five core mechanisms are isomorphic from the same origin: temporal unidirectionality, hierarchical information constraint, bidirectional critical effect, resource priority rule, and forgetting mechanism. It also deduces the dual-configuration functional architecture and the five-level consciousness hierarchy.
