Abstract
Hypnagogia is the moment which exists between an awakening and the sleep, in which we perceiveand feel everything as if we were still awake. As the presence of someone is appeared, we listen to voices,but can neither speak nor move. It is the moment of the hypnagogia or transition between the wakeningand the sleep. Józef Kraszewski has also feeling of this terrifying experience, which is surprisingly common.As an old man he had visual hallucinations. He described his experiences in Sleepless nights.
