ReflectionsWe are working on the theory presented here because of revelations from our direct subjective experience and our capabilities in abstraction.For us, consciousness research confronts the biggest enigma in science today.Many scientific issues are impor tant, but comprehending consciousness will be a significant achievement in our understanding of humanity, the environment, and the universe.Currently, we lack the language to express consciousness and the mathematical foundations that would enable research to pro gress.We hope the ideas presented here are an impor tant contribution to the science of consciousness.We believe that our theory will find many applications.We believe that pure consciousness was never born; it always spontaneously exists.Consciousness then evolves to develop the experiences in our lives. OverviewConsciousness exists but is elusive; it is the unknown key to understanding humanity and the universe.To research consciousness scientifically, we need a solid, rigorous mathematical language, which is built on proper foundations.This article aims to begin the work on this significant task by presenting a new paradigm that introduces a new type of number and develops a new form of logic, termed "soft logic."The roots of such an approach can be found in the works of vari ous scientists and philosophers, including Kant.The novel mathematical model and rigorous analy sis suggested here provide a bridge between the inner experience, the outer world, and the interaction between them.
