Abstract
The rapid emergence of Spirit-Tech has created new opportunities for exploring relationships between spirituality and technology. Existing approaches largely investigate how contemporary technologies may facilitate meditation, contemplative practice, consciousness exploration, and spiritual well-being. This paper introduces the Nzila Spirit-Tech Paradigm as a complementary and distinct framework. Rather than asking how technology can enhance spirituality, the Paradigm asks whether indigenous knowledge systems, spiritual intelligence, ecological wisdom, and humanity's relationship with nature can inform the design principles of future technologies themselves. The paper positions the Paradigm within the emerging global Spirit-Tech landscape, presents its four foundational pillars, outlines an interdisciplinary research agenda, and proposes an expanded framework for evaluating technological progress based on harmony, responsibility, ecological integrity, cultural continuity, and long-term human flourishing
