El presente trabajo explora la cosmovisión implícita en el uso ritual de ayahuasca, con el objetivo de identifcar sus alcances flosófcos. Se postula que el uso de ayahuasca como medio para la cura del cuerpo y del espíritu, tendría implicaciones en el plano de la ética y de la epistemología, tensionando así los cánones tradicionales de lo que se entiende por “conocimiento” y planteando una ética del cuidado de sí.
