Effects of the mindfulness program for male substance abusers in Thailand on stress, deliberate self-harm, and drug abstinence intention: A repeated-measure design.
Belitung Nurs J April 28, 2024
A mindfulness program for male substance abusers in Thailand was evaluated using a repeated-measure design. The study assessed changes in stress, deliberate self-harm, and drug abstinence intention over time. Results indicated that the program reduced stress and deliberate self-harm while increasing drug abstinence intention among participants. The findings suggest that mindfulness-based interventions may be beneficial for substance abuse treatment in this population.
