Aliens, Demons, and the Coming Deception: A Biblical-Theological, Historical, and Phenomenological Reassessment of the Extraterrestrial Narrative

A significant portion of modern alien discourse is better interpreted through biblical categories of deceptive spiritual agency than through the assumption of extraterrestrial visitation. The argument proceeds in five steps: clarifying epistemic posture and distinguishing biblical theology from public reporting; developing a biblical theology of counterfeit supernaturalism; showing how esoteric sources like Alice Bailey's work present UFOs as spiritually guided collaborators; re-examining abduction claims through sleep paralysis research and cross-cultural traditions; and considering how the alien narrative could serve as a post-rapture explanatory myth. The article concludes that Christians should reject both credulous speculation and sensationalism, recognizing the alien question as part of a larger conflict over revelation and truth.
