THE CONCEPT OFOPERATIONAL TRUTH IN CONTEXT OF THE WESTERN AND EASTERN CULTURE AND PHILOSOPHY PARADIGMS

The article introduces the concept of operational truth, which does not claim to reflect reality but instead prompts a corresponding experience or way of thinking, serving as a stimulus or impetus for a particular vision. The clearest example is the instruction for no-thinking in meditation, where thoughtlessness indicates depth of concentration rather than renunciation of thinking. Operational truth is compared with pragmatic and instrumental truth theories and traditional operationalism.
