This work explores the worldview implicit in the ritual use of ayahuasca, aiming to identify its philosophical scope. It argues that using ayahuasca to heal body and spirit has implications for ethics and epistemology, challenging traditional notions of what counts as "knowledge" and proposing an ethics of self-care.
