Healing Through Purpose: Using Founder Mode Entrepreneurial Experience (FMEE) as Exposure Therapy for Moral Scrupulosity OCD with a Transpersonal Psychology Perspective

Advances in Social Behavior Research December 12, 2024 Yujia Zhu 1 citation

A new therapeutic framework called the Founder Mode Entrepreneurial Experience (FMEE) uses entrepreneurial activities as exposure therapy for people with Moral Scrupulosity OCD. FMEE involves confronting ethical dilemmas, embracing imperfection, and navigating moral ambiguities through mission-driven work. The approach integrates mindfulness, altruism, and intuitive decision-making to reduce moral rigidity and foster resilience, self-efficacy, and a purpose-driven mindset. The manuscript argues FMEE bridges personal healing with social impact and discusses implications for OCD therapy, transpersonal psychology, and social entrepreneurship.
