THE EFFECT OF MBSR PROGRAM ON RESILIENCE, BURNOUT, AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING AMONG JUNAGADH CIVIL HOSPITAL NURSES: A REVIEW

Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) July 15, 2026 Riddhi Vaghela, Dr. Piyush Dholariya

This review examines evidence on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for nurses, focusing on resilience, burnout, and psychological well-being. The authors report that mindfulness-based interventions can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout while improving resilience and psychological well-being. They note that even modified or brief MBSR formats may benefit nurses. However, variability in intervention design, sample size, and follow-up duration limits firm conclusions about long-term effects. Overall, they propose MBSR as a practical, low-cost, and promising strategy for improving nurse well-being in hospital settings, with relevance to Junagadh Civil Hospital nurses.
