This work analyzes the factors that shaped Alisher Navoi's passion for writing mystical ghazals and the stages of his creative development. It argues that the emergence and development of the mystical spirit in Navoi's work were linked to Sufi philosophy, the medieval spiritual environment, and the poet's personal spiritual maturity. The article contends that Navoi's early interest in science and enlightenment, his early acquaintance with Sufi teachings, and his creative contacts with mentors and contemporaries enriched his mystical views. It concludes that his passion for mystical ghazals formed from an internal spiritual need and the harmony of traditions. The article ends with an analysis of one of Navoi's ghazals imbued with Sufi philosophy.
