The authors argue that mystical knowledge of God is inherently inaccessible to anyone except God Himself, and that humans can only know God by becoming divine themselves. The rational mind or intellect of the lower personality cannot know or legitimately postulate anything about God. This knowledge arises from realizing one's essential oneness with God, a secret of mystical consciousness that, once discovered, cannot be communicated.
