Unfiltered Vision: Living with Visual Snow Syndrome as a Neurodivergent Strength

A personal reflective essay argues that Visual Snow Syndrome (VSS) should be reframed as a neurodivergent lens rather than a disorder. Drawing on lifelong experience of colored visual static that shifts with sound, emotion, and heartbeat, the author describes how looser sensory gating reveals an interconnected fabric beneath everyday perception.
