Alfred Schutz's Perspective in Phenomenology Approach: Concepts, Characteristics, Methods and Examples

April 7, 2021 R. Rasid, Hilman Djafar, B. Santoso

Alfred Schutz's phenomenology posits multiple realities, including social, fantasy, and dream realities. This research analyzes how Schutz's concepts, characteristics, and methods inform qualitative research methodology. The phenomenological approach, rooted in Husserl's call to "back to things themselves," aims to explain phenomena in their purity as they appear in human consciousness, whether fictional or real. The study describes the application of this approach in qualitative research.
