A cluster-randomized controlled trial with 137 first-year education students tested the MindKinder adult program (MK-A). The experimental group showed significant improvements in subjective well-being, positive affect, and reduced negative affect compared to the control group. Within the experimental group, participants with lower prior emotional well-being and lower trait emotional intelligence appeared to benefit more from the intervention, suggesting that individuals with greater psychological vulnerability may gain the most from such programs.
