Tendencias y experiencias del consumo de microdosis de hongos psilocibios en Colombia

A mixed-methods study provides an initial characterization of psilocybin mushroom microdosing practices and experiences in Colombia. Statistical analysis of preliminary national survey data and thematic analysis of daily logs from 19 users across a full microdosing cycle reveal sociodemographic profiles, motivations for starting, accompanying activities, perceived positive effects, and side effects. Quantitative relationships among these variables are examined, and qualitative accounts deepen understanding of experiences over the cycle. Based on empirical evidence, the study proposes risk-reduction and harm-mitigation strategies for typical consumption contexts. It also suggests hypotheses and future research directions for the underexplored field of psychedelic microdosing in Colombia.
