Quantum consciousness in warm, wet, and noisy brain

Quantum consciousness may arise from dynamic flows of hydrogen ions in brain liquid, which contains extensive areas of the fourth phase of water with hexagonal molecular packing, called the exclusion zone (EZ). Hydrogen ion motion on these hexagonal lattices involves forward hopping of ions and backward hopping of holes (vacant places) via the Grotthuss mechanism. Supporting this motion with external infrasound sources could produce a superfluid state in EZ water. The hydrogen ion flows are described by a modified Navier-Stokes equation, which, combined with the continuity equation, yields the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. This equation accounts for quantum effects such as long-distance tunneling and interference on gap junctions.
