A Dual-Consciousness Model: Temporary Nonlocal-Local Consciousness Entanglement Illustrated Through K-PAX

Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research) November 24, 2025 Jacobsen, Michael John

A conceptual model proposes that a nonlocal consciousness (NLC) might temporarily entangle with a local consciousness (LC) under extreme threshold conditions, using the film K-PAX as an illustrative case. The model suggests mechanisms including GABAergic disinhibition, hemispheric harmonic resonance, and interface conditions that could enable transient executive override. It offers conditional predictions for observable patterns during NLC-LC interaction and situates these ideas within dual-aspect theories, extended cognition, and nonlocal consciousness research. The framework is speculative and conceptual, providing a structured approach to exploring consciousness beyond strictly local neural processes.
