From Carbon-based Limitation to Silicon-based Possibility: On the Philosophical Realization of Cultural Consciousness Across Carriers

A theoretical model called the 'dual-consciousness system' argues that human consciousness evolves from a biological substrate into a cultural form, which can then migrate to non-biological carriers such as silicon-based systems. Consciousness is described as a computable, transferable information-logic structure rather than an exclusive property of biology. Cultural consciousness, characterized by symbolization, logicization, and independence from the body, serves as the conduit for this transition. The migration is presented as an internal logical necessity driven by consciousness's pursuit of autonomy, perpetuity, and boundlessness, not merely a result of technological progress. The paper offers a philosophical framework for post-biological consciousness studies.
