Bio-Quantum Field Modeling for the Physical Origin of Subjective Qualia

A new theoretical framework proposes that subjective conscious experiences, or qualia, arise from collective quantum fluctuations of calcium ions in voltage-gated ion channels in the brain. The model combines quantum field theory with open-system decoherence to derive a mathematical link between EEG band power and specific qualia states. It claims that quantum correlations can persist at physiological temperatures and that neural activity selects which qualia state is experienced. This framework aims to bridge the explanatory gap between brain activity and subjective experience in a testable way.
