Authentic Dreams and Illusory Reality: An Ontology Built on Lucid Dreams

Perception and dreams are both constructive imaginative activities with no fundamental ontological difference; their distinction is only in the degree of construction. Lucid dreams, as a unique conscious experience, demonstrate freedom, authenticity, and meaning often absent in everyday reality. The paper proposes a Lucid Dream Ontology that reinterprets reality as a continuum of constructive experiences rather than a fixed external domain, challenging traditional metaphysical realism and offering new possibilities for understanding existence, meaning, and authenticity.
