Antecedents and Consequences of Grit Among Working Adults: A Transpersonal Psychology Perspective.

Grit—perseverance and passion for long-term goals—has become a key factor in workplace success, especially after the pandemic shifted focus from hard work to sustained effort. Among 209 working professionals in India, metacognition, flow, optimism, and empathy significantly contribute to developing grit. Higher grit, in turn, is linked to greater job satisfaction and job performance. The findings offer organizations a framework for designing interventions that boost workplace efficiency by cultivating these psychological resources.
