An Analysis of Spirituality from the Perspective of Transpersonal Psychology

Spirituality, involving self-awareness, relationships, and the search for meaning, is examined through the lens of Transpersonal Psychology, a field that emphasizes transcendental experiences and heightened consciousness. This library research, analyzing books and articles, suggests that transpersonal experiences such as peak experiences, self-transcendence, and mystical experiences shape self-awareness, psychological well-being, and social relationships. Integrating spirituality into psychology helps individuals face stress and challenges with greater awareness. The research advocates for a holistic, subjective, humanistic approach to understanding transformative experiences, asserting that spirituality is fundamental to self-development, character formation, and finding deeper meaning in life.
