This systematic review protocol describes a planned synthesis of qualitative research on user experiences with virtual reality (VR)-based mindfulness interventions. The review will search multiple databases for studies reporting adult participants' perceptions, attitudes, and opinions about VR mindfulness. Two independent reviewers will screen studies, extract data, and assess quality using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme checklist. Thematic synthesis will analyze qualitative findings, and confidence in the results will be evaluated with the GRADE-CERQual approach. The work aims to identify design improvements and implementation strategies for VR mindfulness interventions in real-world settings.
