"No hay red como la ilusión": un acercamiento a la ética budista
Valenciana September 3, 2021 Elizabeth Corral
The paper explores Buddhist concepts—meditation, awareness, precepts, intuitive knowledge, naturalness, and awakening—and then examines how characters in literary works by Aira and Bellatin, guided by Pitol, appear to enact the difficult practice of living in the present and following the Bodhisattva's precepts. The author uses this framework to understand their own zazen practice, which began as a therapeutic recommendation and grew into a central interest, showing how a fascination with reading transformed through Buddhist practice into a model for life.
