Real-time Sensing and NeuroFeedback for Practicing Meditation Using simultaneous EEG and Eye Tracking

2022 IEEE Region 10 Symposium July 1, 2022 Pankaja Pandey, P. Gupta, Shivam Chaudhary et al.

A proposed real-time feedback framework uses EEG headsets and mobile front cameras to help novice meditators maintain practice. The system provides audio and visual feedback based on brain signals and eye tracking, aiming to generate mindful moments and track progress. Three learning phases are described: preparatory, disentanglement, and mindful. The framework is intended to support product design for tailored neurofeedback, potentially improving sustained attention, meta-cognitive awareness, and emotional stability.
