Cancer pain and poor quality of life remain common for patients without access to specialized services. This protocol describes a randomized clinical trial that will test whether immersive virtual reality used as a meditation tool can help manage pain and improve well-being in cancer patients receiving palliative care at a specific Brazilian service.
