Doing Truth

Religious language involves a distinctive logic of testimony and presence that bridges speech acts and acts of consciousness. The paper argues that analytical philosophy's pragmatic focus and continental philosophy's phenomenological-hermeneutic approach converge on first-person experience of reality, forming what the author terms the intentional-performative. This concept describes a bond of realism, consciousness, and language where logos and action are understood personalistically, together with the experience of truth in the word.
