Bio-cosmology. Integration of life and consciousness into cosmology

Advanced Studies in Theoretical Physics January 1, 2023 A. Šorli

Life evolves primarily as a cosmic phenomenon, not just a terrestrial one, according to a model in which multidimensional, time-invariant superfluid quantum space constitutes about 95% of the universe's energy and has stable entropy. The remaining 5% of energy, in the form of matter, is where entropy increases. The evolution of life is a process of organizing matter toward the constant entropy of that quantum space, a universal process that tends toward intelligent organisms. Information for life's development is encoded in higher-dimensional layers of this space, representing subtle energies and consciousness. Preliminary results suggest that the presence of subtle energies and consciousness increases the weight of living organisms.

Quantum Information Processes in Protein Microtubules of Brain Neurons

January 1, 2016 N. Enaki, V. Koroli, S. Bazgan et al.

Conscious awareness may arise from quantum processes inside brain neurons that are orchestrated by microtubule proteins. These coherent quantum states evolve until they undergo a specific form of quantum state reduction, the Diosi-Penrose objective reduction, which is proposed to produce moments of conscious choice. The theory is examined in light of developments in quantum physics, computational neuroscience, and quantum biology. The faster vibrations of microtubules are also considered as a possible source of the brain's EEG signals that correlate with consciousness.
